- Practice Compassion: Compassion enables us to understand others better and relive their sufferings through acts of kindness, caring and support. It gives us the ability to see things from their perspective and sympathize with their emotions.
- Practice gratitude: Take some time each day and thank God for all the good things in your life. Gratitude helps you feel positive emotions, appreciate good things, relish good experiences and improve your well-being.
- Meditate regularly: Meditation helps control thoughts, increases energy, reduces stress and provides a sense of calm, peace and balance. It helps you learn to stay centered and reduces feelings of depression, anxiety, anger and confusion. All you have to do is give 10-15 minutes everyday to meditation before starting your day since it sets a calm tone before the distractions begin.

Sometimes the person who’s holding us back and stops us from achieving our objectives is our own selves. - Listen to your favorite music: Music soothes the soul, helps you relax and makes you happier. It improves your mood and induces pleasure, joy and motivation.
- Stop being hard to forgive yourself for past mistakes: Acknowledge your mistake and take each mistake as a learning experience. Be kind to your past self and look towards the future. Don’t let your past mistakes ruin your present.
- Slow down: Stop living on autopilot and embrace the present moment. Take the time to bring meaning to your everyday routines and you’ll discover the beauty of life.
- Get a good night’s sleep: Sleep helps us manage our negative thoughts, replenish the body, rejuvenate the mind and relax the soul.
